Sam Bahadur Box Office Day 3 Prediction: Vicky’s Film To Grow During Weekend; To Cross 20Cr

Vicky Kaushal, who has given us several iconic movies in his career so far, is now making the headlines for his recent release - Sam Bahadur. Also starring Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh in the lead, Sam Bahadur is based on the life of India's first field marshal Sam Manekshaw and marks Vicky's second collaboration with filmmaker Meghna Gulzar.

The biographical war drama features Vicky in the titular role and has been among the most anticipated releases of the year. And while Sam Bahadur has opened to decent reviews with fans demanding another National Award for Vicky, the Meghna Gulzar directorial has been going slow at the box office. After an opening day collection of Rs 6.25 crores, Sam Bahadur saw growth on the second day wherein it made a collection of Rs 9.5 crores.

And now given the positive word of mouth and Sam Bahadur's hold at the box office, it is expected to have a decent first Sunday (day 3) and will be crossing Rs 20 crores mark today. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Sam Bahadur has made a collection of Rs 48 lakhs for the early morning show as of now which took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 16.23 crores.

To note, Sam Bahadur, which has been witnessing a box office clash with Animal, has been largely overshadowed by this Ranbir Kapoor starrer which has been roaring loud at the box office since day one. In fact, Animal has managed to cross Rs 120 crores mark at the box office in just 2 days of release.

Earlier, when Vicky Kaushal was quizzed about Sam Bahadur's box office clash with Animal, he told Indian Express, "When two opening batsmen come to the crease, playing for the same team, you won't say that the two batsmen are clashing with each other; they are playing for a single team, so we are playing for Hindi cinema".
