Zara Hatke Zara Bachke Box Office: Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan's Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, directed by Laxman Utekar, finally got released yesterday (June 3) amid a decent buzz and huge expectations. Produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios, the film marks Sara and Vicky's big screen comebacks after a long gap as most of their recent films were released on OTT.

For the unversed, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke revolves around a happily-married couple who shockingly decides to divorce each other leaving their families shocked. Its trailer received a decent response from moviegoers and created an okayish pre-release buzz.

DECENT OPENING FOR ZARA HATKE ZARA BACHKE

Ever since its release on Friday, Maxman Utekar's directorial has been getting a mixed response from critics while the majority of moviegoers have given it a thumbs up. Interestingly, the film performed decently on the first day of its release. Yes, you read that right!

As per early estimates, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke did a business of around Rs 5 crore on Friday and is expected to witness a jump over the weekend. While the film is facing competition from Sudipto Sen's The Kerala Story, the makers' idea of 'buy one get one ticket free' is working. However, the final numbers are still awaited.

The 'buy one get one' offer will remain in effect until Sunday, thereby generating anticipation for decent weekend box office collections for the film. However, industry trade experts predict that the film's true test will come after the conclusion of the offer.

Hence, after a decent opening, the footfalls need to multiply over the next few days for Zara Hatke Zara Bachke to reach a healthy total.

Coming back to Vicky and Sara, both of them currently have several interesting projects in their kitty. While Vicky is currently busy with Meghna Gulzar's Sam Bahadur, Sara will be seen in Metro In Dino, Ae Watan Mere Watan, and Murder Mubarak among others.
