De De Pyaar De 2 Box Office Collection Day 1 Prediction: Remember when Ajay Devgn collaborated with Rakul Preet Singh for De De Pyaar De? The movie was a roller coaster ride and left everyone in splits. And now, after six years, Ajay and Rakul have collaborated once again for the much awaited De De Pyaar De 2 and we can't keep calm about it. The movie happens to be the sequel to De De Pyaar De and also comes with a stellar cast of R Madhavan, Gautami Kapoor, Jaaved Jaaferi, Meezaan Jafri, Ishita Dutta, Janki Bodiwala etc.

Directed by Anshul Sharma, De De Pyaar De 2 is written by Luv Ranjan and Tarun Jain. The movie features Ajay and Rakul reprising their respective roles of Ashish Mehra and Ayesha Khurana once again. Interestingly, while fans are excited to watch Ajay and Rakul's romance, it is Ajay's camaraderie with R Madhavan which is one of the most talked about elements of De De Pyaar De 2. In an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat's Chief Copy Editor Ranpreet Kaur, film business expert Rohit Jaiswal stated that De De Pyaar De 2 is expected to make an opening day collection of Rs 4.5-5.5cr (day 1/ first Friday)

If the reports turned out to be true, De De Pyaar De 2 will fail to beat the opening day collection of its prequel De De Pyaar De which had made a collection of Rs 9.11cr. In fact, De De Pyaar De 2 will also fail to beat Son of Sardaar 2 on its opening day collection as the later had raked in Rs 7.25cr on its day of release

Meanwhile, as Tabu, who played a lead role in De De Pyaar De, is not a part of De De Pyaar De 2, co-producer Luv Ranjan explained, "Hopefully, a third part will happen. In the first part, we went to the man's house. Now, we've gone to the girl's house. If everything goes well, then we'll also make both families meet".
