Set in the backdrop of a conservative town where caste and class still decide who deserves love, Dhadak 2 is a powerful tale of defiance, desire, and the devastating cost of crossing invisible lines. Unlike its 2018 predecessor, this chapter is raw, political, and unapologetically real. Directed by Shazia Iqbal, the Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri starrer Dharma film has kickstarted its box office journey on a slow note.

According to the latest Sacnilk update, the movie has managed to earn Rs 2.16 cr only till 8:30 pm on its opening day (today, Friday, Aug 1).

A sequel to the 2012 action-comedy hit, Son Of Sardaar 2 brings back the signature blend of Punjabi swag, slapstick humour, and over-the-top action. Featuring Ajay Devgn, Mrunal Thakur in the lead, alongside a power-packed ensemble, the spiritual sequel also seems to be struggling to pull audiences to theatres.

As per the same trade tracking site, SOS2 has netted around Rs 4.19 cr today, on the day of its release (Aug 1), till 8:30 pm.
