Border 2 Box Office Collection Day 6: Renowned Punjabi actor Diljit Dosanjh is all over the news these days and rightfully so. After winning hearts with his singing and acting chops in the Punjabi industry, Diljit has successfully carved a niche for himself in Bollywood and is currently creating waves with his recent release Border 2. Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 features Diljit portrayed Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon - a braveheart of the Indian Air Force. To note, Diljit Dosanjh played the role of Indian Air Force officer for the first time on the big screen and has left everyone in absolute awe.

Apart from Diljit, Border 2 also features Sonam Bajwa, Sunny Deol, Mona Sing, Varun Dhawan, Medha Rana, Ahan Shetty and Anya Singh in the lead role. Touted to be a war drama, Border 2 is based on the 1971 India vs Pakistan war and captures the bravery of Indian armed forces. Interestingly, Border 2 is the much talked about sequel to the 1997 release Border and this war drama is coming with a perfect dose of nostalgia with a fresh cast. Released amid massive buzz, Border 2 opened to decent reviews and has received an impressive response in terms of box office.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Border 2 saw a dip of 35% in numbers and minted Rs 13cr on day 6 (first Wednesday). This took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 213cr.

Border 2 Becomes Diljit Dosanjh's Highest Grosser

To note, with a total collection of Rs 213cr, Border 2 has managed to beat the lifetime collection of Diljit Dosanjh and Akshay Kumar starrer Good Newwz which happens to be Rs 205.09cr. As a result, Border 2 has emerged as Diljit Dosanjh's highest grossing Hindi film.
