Shahrukh Khan to help the underprivileged

We rarely hear of Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan taking up charity works unlike many of his counterparts. But that doesn't mean that he isn't into it. He has been doing it silently. And the latest we hear is that he is planning to fund a cancer wing for the underprivileged in a Mumbai hospital.

Shahrukh, who is funding a children's ward of a top hospital in Mumbai, is also reportedly planning to fund a cancer wing for the underprivileged in memory of his mother Fatima and father Taj Mohammed Khan, who died of cancer. He is said to be disturbed whenever he sees terminally ill people not being given proper medical facilities.

Sources said that the plan is still in the initial stage and would take some time to turn into reality.
