Aryan Khan Drug Case- Sameer Wankhede Roped In Key Witness Kiran Gosavi To Arrest Shah Rukh Khan’s Son: Report

Sameer Wankhede Roped In Kiran Gosavi To Arrest Aryan Khan?

Aryan Khan Drug Case: The Cordelia cruise drugs case involving Aryan Khan, the son of Shah Rukh Khan, continues to garner attention even after nearly two years after the incident first unfolded.

In the fresh update, it has been reported that former Intelligence officer Ashish Rajan Prasad has revealed some fresh details that hints toward a possible set-up.

As per a report in Times Of India, Ashish Ranjan Prasad, an accused in CBI's case against officials, has revealed to the Central Bureau Of Investigation that key witness Kiran Gosavi was a set-up for Aryan Khan's arrest and was involved in the matter with the approval of Wankhede.

This is contrary to Wankhede's earlier statement in winch he said that he met Gosavi, BJP party worker Manish Bhanushali and Prabhakar Sail on the day of the drug bust case.

The report in TOI also states that Prasad revealed he had inquired Gosavi, Bhanushali and Sail's presence while detaining the suspects from the cruise, who were present there as per Wankhede's instructions.

Meanwhile, Sameer Wankhede is under investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation. He is being probed in relation to the alleged bribery case involving a sum of Rs 25 Crore in the drugs-on-cruise case, which involves Aryan Khan, son of Shah Rukh Khan.

Wankhede was granted interim relief from arrest by the Bombay High Court until today. In an affidavit submitted to the Bombay High Court last month, the suspended Indian Revenue Service officer presented his chats with SRK as evidence to counter the extortion allegations. He claimed that Khan praised his integrity during their conversations.

Previously, Wankhede's lawyer stated that Aryan Khan and Shah Rukh Khan had already informed the court that there was no case of extortion amounting to Rs 25 crore. On June 17, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) filed a 92-page affidavit refuting the claims made by their former officers.
