Chandrayaan-3s’ Budget Is Cheaper Than Prabhas' Adipurush: Viral Tweet Stirs Laugh Riot On The Internet

 Adipurush Chandrayaan-3

Adipurush Chandrayaan-3: Om Raut's directorial Adipurush generated massive buzz prior to its release. However, it failed to live up to the expectations of movie enthusiasts. The makers aimed to portray Hindu gods as larger-than-life Marvel superheroes on screen but unfortunately missed the mark.

As a result, the film faced criticism and backlash for mocking Ramayan and the religion. Meanwhile, people continue to troll the film even after a month of its release. And now, a viral tweet claiming that Om Raut's epic saga is higher-budget than Chandrayaan 3 is making the internet go mad.

Chandrayaan 3's budget is cheaper than Prabhas Adipurush

Soon after the Indian Space Research Organisation successfully launched its lunar mission Chandrayaan 3, a viral tweet claimed that Adipurush's budget was higher than the mission's. Twitter went berserk and appalled over where the money went on the film.

The viral tweet read: "The tweet claims that while Adipurush was made on a budget of Rs 700 crore, Chandrayaan 3 had a budget of Rs 615 crore. "Approximate Budget • Adipurush - ₹700 Crore •Chandrayaan 3 - ₹615 Crore Gives a Fair Understanding of Priorities."

On the other hand, a few netizens tried to explain the difference between the budgets of two things, as Adipurush is a privately funded movie that is barred by the producers, while Chandrayaan 3 gets funded by the government.

Is Adipurush's budget really made on a humongous budget of 700 cr?

Adipurush has been produced on a budget of Rs 700, according to Koimoi.com. Whereas some other media reports claimed that the film was made on a budget of Rs 650-675 crore. While a few have also suggested that it was produced on a Rs 500 crore budget.

Well, there's no accuracy in any of the reports, as the makers have reworked the film's visual effects after its teaser received backlash for being poor in quality, and there can be a discrepancy in the budget.

Meanwhile, the film has collected Rs 450 crore worldwide and has been declared a flop. Based on the Hindu mythological epic Ramayana, it was released on July 16. However, ever since its release, the film has faced massive backlash for distorting the epic and using cringe dialogues for the gods.
