As per a report in Hindustan Times, Mithun Vijay Kumar said, “As a sensible streaming service provider that understands cultural sensitivities, Netflix has informed the original producers of the show regarding the gravity of the issue raised by me. I hope Warner Bros will take appropriate content moderation measures and ensure that their content is free from such abusive language towards people and cultures.”

Alka Yagnik shared the biggest regret of her life and said that she turned down AR Rahman’s singing offer for Roja. As per a report in The Indian Express, the singer told told O2India, “I called up Mr Kumar Sanu. I asked him, ‘Did you get a call from some AR Rahman?’ He said, ‘Yes, yes, I did get a call, and they want me to come also, and do all the male songs.’ So, I said, ‘Are you going?’ He said, ‘Nahi, kaun jayega, main toh nahi jaunga, kaun AR Rahman?’ I said, ‘Even I haven’t heard of AR Rahman, pata nahi kaun hai. Swastika Mukherjee, the actress who recently appeared in the Netflix movie Qala, has claimed that she has received threatening emails from Sandeep Sarkar, the co-producer of the Bengali film Shibpur, and his associates. A complaint has been lodged against the makers, director Om Raut, and cast of the movie Adipurush for allegedly hurting religious sentiments through an inappropriate portrayal of a character from Hindu mythology in the film's recent poster. Featuring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Sunny Singh in the key role, the film is based on the epic Ramayana. Sanjay Dinanath Tiwari, a self-proclaimed preacher of Sanatan Dharma, filed a complaint at Mumbai's Sakinaka police station through Mumbai High Court Advocates - Ashish Rai and Pankaj Mishra. The complaint claims that Adipurush, a film, is based on the biography of Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram from the holy book Ramcharitmanas. Sanjay alleged that the new poster of Adipurush depicts Lord Ram wearing a costume that goes against the natural spirit and nature of Ramcharitmanas as mentioned in the Hindu scripture.
