Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap’s movie Kennedy, starring Sunny Leone, has been selected to be screened at the prestigious 2023 Cannes Film Festival. It is the only Indian movie to make the list. Kennedy has been chosen to be a part of the Midnight Screenings category at the upcoming festival. The festival is scheduled to be held from May 16 to May 27. The official Twitter account of the Cannes Film Festival announcing the selection tweeted, "KENNEDY by Anurag KASHYAP #SéanceDeMinuit / #MidnightScreenings #Cannes2023." Besides Sunny Leone, it also stars Rahul Bhatt and Abhilash Thapliyal.

Salman Khan took to his Instagram account on Thursday and dropped a few pictures from his tiring leg day. In these photos taken in a gym, Salman is seen relaxing after a "halat kharab" workout. Bollywood filmmaker David Dhawan has been facing health issues for the last two years. He is diabetic. Now, a report in The Times Of India suggests that he the father of Varun Dhawan faced heart issues a few weeks ago, after which he underwent an angioplasty at the HN Reliance Hospital in Mumbai and a stent was implanted into his artery.

I feel they will hire me when they really need to, even though it is really unnatural that people just don’t consider you even after you have worked so much. They just disregard you.”

Bhojpuri actress Akanksha Singh allegedly committed suicide on March 26, 2023. Police are investigating her death after her mother accused her boyfriend, Bhojpuri singer Samar Singh, and his brother Sanjay Singh of threatening her. Police had arrested Samar Singh a few days back. And now, Sanjay Singh has also been nabbed. They were absconding.

The sequel will hit the screens over six years after the release of the original. The film will star Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, and Pankaj Tripathi as Stree, Vicky, and Rudra respectively.

Uttara Bhaokar was conferred with the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for Mrinal Sen's Ek Din Achanak released in 1989. The veteran actress breathed her last in Pune. She was 79. Apart from films, she featured in several serials including, Yatra, Tamas, Jassie Jaisi Koi Nahin, Udaan, Antaral, Rishtey Kora Kaagaz, Nazarana, Kashmakash Zindagi Ki, and Jabb Love Hua. She was conferred with the prestigious Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for her excellent contribution as an actor in the Hindi theatre in 1984.
