Gehana Vasisth Fake Marriage: In early June, there were reports stating that Gehana Vasisth, the actress known for her role in Gandii Baat, had married her actor-social media influencer Faizan Ansari and had converted to Islam. However, Gehana has recently come forward to refute these claims, asserting that the news of her marriage is false and that she never tied the knot with Faizan.

On Saturday, Gehana took to Instagram to address the situation and clarify that the photos circulating on the internet were from a web series shoot, emphasizing that she was never actually married.

GEHANA VASISTH DENIES MARRYING FAIZAN ANSARI

In a lengthy caption accompanying her post, Gehana stated, "Hey guys, I want to clarify that I have never been married to anyone. The pictures were taken during a web series shoot...nothing more."

The actress further stated that she didn't even know Faizan very well and had any knowledge about Faizan's background. Finally, Gehana revealed that she is currently in a relationship with her long-time boyfriend and affirmed that she has no intention of marrying anyone else.

FAIZAN ANSARI REACTION TO GEHANA VASISTH'S FAKE MARRIAGE CLAIMS

Now, Faizan too has released a statement clarifying that he and Gehana are not married. The statement read, "I wanted to clarify one thing to the people who are creating an unnecessary controversy regarding my and Gehna Vasisht's relationship, it was just a web series shoot that we had done. Circulating the wedding pictures is just one of the promotional & marketing strategies that we did. Gehna Vasisth was aware of all the activities about the same prior. She is the one who invited me to her place to shoot for the web series."

He added, "Gehna Vasisth says that we have met only a couple of times then I would like to clarify that we have met a lot of times and have witnesses of the same who you can cross-check with. Maybe she is trying to save her genuine relationship. If this is the case, I support her. I respect all the women out there and if Gehna's boyfriend is feeling insecure then I would like to tell him that there is nothing between us. It is purely professional. And the pictures were a part of the promotional activities only. This is the only reason I have clarified to everyone on my social media handles as well."
