Will Phule Give Competition To Chhaava: After much delay, Phule was released in cinemas on April 25, 2025. The movie showcased the struggles of Jyotiba and Savitribai Phule. The movie's release was pushed ahead as it faced objection from the Brahmin groups. The concern was mainly raised by three groups, Akhil Bhartiya Brahmin Samaj, Parshuram Aarthik Vikas Mahamandal and Hindu Mahasangh, claiming that the content was biased. Since Phule and Chhaava are both biographical drama much comparison will be drawn between the two. We asked the lead actor of Phule, Pratik Gandhi, that whether he thinks that Phule could match the impact thay was created by Chhaava since both are set in historical contexts. To this, Pratik said exclusively to Filmibeat, "I do wish it works equally well for the audience..." The actor then added that Phule is a "different take on how you can win the world, how can you work around your anger." Even thought the actor accepted that both the movies are set in historical aspects but Pratik also claimed that the approach of both the movies are absolutely different from each other.
Seeing Pratik Gandhi blend in Bollywood perfectly has been satisfying for his fans. When asked how has his journey been so far, coming from Gujarati background and now building a career in Bollywood, Pratik said, "The journey has been absolutely satisfying. Any actor's dream, anybody who comes from small town comes to this dream city Mumbai..., that's the dream of every actor." He further added, "The more you see it coming true, it's the best feeling."
Talking about how he decide to choose a film, whether it's based on the kind of cast members working in the movie or the storyline, Pratik said, "What works with me, the base on which I decide on the flim, is the script..." Pratik confessed that if the script excites him enough then he goes with the movie. He further that the second thing he looks for before signing in the movie is the director and how he sees the movie. "That is very important for me because it is director's view."
