The makers of Sanjay Dutt starrer Aakhri Sawal have fixed the teaser launch for Hanuman Ji Janmotsav on 2nd April at 11:11 AM. The film explores a key chapter linked to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and is slated for a theatrical release on 15th May 2026.

The teaser date announcement was timed with Ram Navami celebrations, when the team also shared festive wishes. The teaser itself will arrive on 2nd April, marked as Hanuman Ji Janmotsav, at exactly 11:11 AM, continuing the makers’ focus on religiously significant dates for major updates.

Aakhri Sawal is produced by Nikhil Nanda and Sanjay Dutt under Nikhil Nanda Motion Pictures and Neem Tree Entertainment. The film is presented by Nikhil Nanda and directed by National Award–winning filmmaker Abhijeet Mohan Warang. The cast includes Sanjay Dutt, Amit Sadh, Namashi Chakraborty, Sameera Reddy, Tridha Choudhury and Neetu Chandra.

Earlier, the team revealed a first-look poster while confirming the 15th May 2026 release date. The poster generated strong interest among viewers, and the teaser is expected to build on that response. By choosing Hanuman Ji Janmotsav for the launch, the makers linked the reveal closely with the Ram Navami announcement.

The narrative of Aakhri Sawal centres on the 100-year journey of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, one of India’s oldest unified organisations. Founded in 1925 by Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, the RSS forms the backdrop to a crucial meeting portrayed in the film, which is described as altering the future course of Bharat.

The film aims to examine aspects of the RSS that standard history books often leave out. It focuses on the group’s core belief in selfless national service and highlights lesser-known events and perspectives. The makers state that Aakhri Sawal will present truths that audiences have not usually seen or heard in mainstream narratives.

Director Abhijeet Mohan Warang previously made the Marathi drama Picasso, which released in 2021. Picasso earned a Special Mention at the 67th National Film Awards. Warang has also directed projects such as Deja Vu, Prem Pratha Dhumshan, Piccolo and the short film Virtual Reality in both Marathi and Hindi.

Nikhil Nanda Motion Pictures and Neem Tree Entertainment, which back Aakhri Sawal, have handled several projects for Hotstar and other platforms. For this film, Puneet Nanda, Dr. Deepak Singh, Gaurav Dubey and Ujjwal Anand serve as co-producers. The story, screenplay and dialogues are written by Utkarsh Naithani.
