Adivi Sesh On Dacoit: "My Character Hari Is Born From The Pain, Anger, And Pure Hearts Of Real People...."
Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur's Dacoit: Ek Prem Katha is generating strong buzz ahead of its release this week. The trailer gives a glimpse into Sesh's character Hari, highlighting his vulnerability and simmering anger, making him intriguing for his fans.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the character, Sesh shared, "I'm personally drawn to Hari because I wrote the character with my best friend, Shaneil Deo. He's an amalgamation of different people I've met. He represents the many downtrodden individuals in society and what happens when their struggles turn into anger. At the same time, I wanted him to remain a pure soul, someone who wears his heart on his sleeve. The moment he feels something, you'll see it on his face. Hari is an open book. But the intention was to make him an amazing book."
He further emphasized that the emotional core of the film lies in the relationship between his character and Mrunal Thakur's, highlighting how love, when fractured and left unresolved, can evolve into anger and betrayal.
Marking Shaneil Deo's directorial debut, the ambitious project is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda, co-produced by Suniel Narang, and presented by Annapurna Studios. Shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu, the film's story and screenplay have been jointly crafted by Sesh and Shaneil Deo. Dacoit: Ek Prem Katha is all set for a grand pan-India theatrical release on 10th April 2026.
