Ranveer Singh, Aditya Dhar Reuniting After Dhurandhar 2 For Chandragupta Maurya Film? Viral Post Explodes
Ranveer Singh-Aditya Dhar New Film: Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh and filmmaker Aditya Dhar are currently on cloud nine as Dhurandhar The Revenge (Dhurandhar 2) has also turned out to be a huge success after Dhurandhar became a blockbuster in December last year. Both films have joined the list of the biggest hits of all time, and experts are analysing the spy franchise's phenomenal success.
While Dhurandhar 2 is still dominating the box office, Ranveer Singh and Aditya Dhar are much in demand currently, and a section of the moviegoers is already wishing for their reunion for the third time. Amid all this, a viral post has been doing the rounds on Reddit, which claims the actor-director duo is indeed coming together.
RANVEER SINGH-ADITYA DHAR TO REUNITE ON A FILM BASED ON CHANDRAGUPTA MAURYA?
According to a post on the Reddit sub r/BollyBlindsNGossip, Ranveer and Aditya might team up for a historical drama based on Chandragupta Maurya. However, there's still no clarity whether the lead protagonist will be Chandragupta Maurya himself or if it's a story set in his world. The post also states that the project will be announced in November this year, and the team is already in talks with two studios to come on board as financers.
It reads, "Hearing through the grapevine (a friend at Jio studios) that Dhar's next project is a big one - a historical epic on Chandragupta Maurya, with Ranveer Singh attached. Interesting NOTE - There isn't an explicit word on whether the main character is Maurya himself, in fact the person telling me put emphasis on "a story in the world of Chandragupta Maurya", so we'll see, I guess."

Reacting to it, a Redditor wrote, "Bhansali ki kursi khatre me hai. The man really thought RS wouldn't be able to recreate it with anybody else."
A second comment reads, "Petition to see Ranveer as Dhana Nanda. And the movie should be about him vs Chanakya."
A third comment reads, "I would like to see Ranveer play Chanakya rather than Emperor Chandragupta Maurya."
While the speculation has left fans elated, it has to be noted that this is unverified news, and Aditya Dhar hasn't yet reacted to it.
RANVEER SINGH'S NEXT FILM AFTER DHURANDHAR 2?
After delivering two back-to-back blockbusters in a span of just four months, Ranveer Singh has signed a zombie actioner next. Titled Pralay, the film will be directed by Jai Mehta and marks the Bollywood debut of Lokah fame Kalyani Priyadharshan as the leading lady. The shooting is likely to begin in April.
The film is going to be extra special for Ranveer as he's going to make his debut as a producer under his banner, Maa Kasam Films, in collaboration with Sameer Nair's Applause Entertainment and Hansal Mehta's True Story Films.
