New Delhi: Actress Maira Dharti Mehra, who is currently winning the hearts of the audience with her stellar acting prowess in the Star Plus show Pandya Store, is all set to feature in the Disney+Hotstar series Aashiqana. Ahead of her grand entry in the OTT show, the talented actress interacted with Filmibeat and spoke about her character.

Maira shared details about her character, revealing that the audience will get to see an updated version of Shivani in the third season. "I play the character of Shivani, an introvert, sweet and innocent girl. It is a very serious character as Shivani doesn't speak too much. She is a conserved person who has an under confident personality. I had a lot of crying scenes which were too serious and intense," she quipped.

She further added, "I haven't played such a traditional character as Shivani. My character has a lot of shades to explore and I am enjoying playing this character for the third time. In third season, an updated version of Shivani will be seen and I am sure the audience will love it."

MAIRA ON HER SHOOTING EXPERIENCE

Sharing her shooting experience and excitement for the third season, Maira says, "The experience of shooting Aashiqana has been enriching and learning. I am thrilled that Aashiqana is back with it's third season. It is the immense love from the audience that the third season of a series has been made. In this season, a multiplied dose of entertainment, thrill, love and karma will be seen. I am looking forward to the reviews for this new season."

Meanwhile, on the workfront, Maira is known for her performances in the shows 'Sasuraal Genda Phool 2', 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', 'Kumkum Bhagya', 'Tera Yaar Hun Mai', 'Shaadi Mubarak', among others.
