My husband has to live with my mother”, Ahsaas Channa shares the definition of her Ideal man- EXCLUSIVE

My husband has to live with my mother Ahsaas Channa

In the talk show, "Be A Parent, Yaar", Ahsaas Channa talks about her love life and ideal match while speaking with her mother, Kulbir Baderson, ungaping the generational difference in the ideology of love.

For years there has been a debate about the generational gap, distancing kids from their parents, despite the best efforts of both sides to find a middle ground. To challenge the same and start a conversation, the Media Entrepreneur and co-founder of Yuvaa, Nikhil Taneja launched a new show called 'Be A Parent, Yaar!' which aims to bridge the generational gap.

The first-of-its-kind talk show, 'Be A Parent, Yaar' works towards a #GenerationUngap, covering some unconventional topics in a raw and candid conversation between parents and their kids. The show's pilot episode welcomed the actor and digital content creator, Ahsaas Channa and her mother Kulbir Baderson as guests, where the two navigated their way towards diminishing the generational gap regarding love life.

In the episode, in conversation with her mother, Kulbir, Ahsaas Channa talked about her love life and expressed the definition of her ideal man. Sharing how for her, her ideal man is someone who can live with her mother after their wedding, Ahsaas said, "I want a man who understands
me because I'm a complicated person. It's very important how the person talks to somebody who's waiting on us or a cab driver or a watchman. It completely shows character to me because I know I speak to them very respectfully. Also, be good-looking and rich (she adds
laughingly)! My husband has to live with my mother after we get married."

For the unversed, Kulbir is a single mother who has been looking after the well-being of her two daughters for two decades now. In the same episode, Ahsaas also dwelled upon being raised

by a single mother and its impact on her perception of love and how she wishes her mother to find love again. The mother-daughter duo also reacted to marriage and dating bios, while Kulbir found a suitable match for her daughter. The difference in values, beliefs, and behaviours between the younger and older generations often draws the parent-child duo apart, leading to conflicts, misunderstandings, and struggles between them, affecting their relationship throughout. Yuvaa's new chat show, 'Be A Parent, Yaar!' is an initiative to bring parents and their children together and start the dreaded difficult conversations to strengthen their understanding and relationship.

Starting on the occasion of Mother's Day week, the show is set to feature five more parent-child duos, starting conversations on various generational gap topics, with new episodes airing every Wednesday.
