'Orb: On The Movements Of The Earth' Anime Trailer, Theme Song, Release Date, More

A new anime will be released in the coming month of October that will explore the history of our world in a more fantastical and adventurous light. The name of the anime is called, 'Orb: On the Movements of the Earth' and the trailer for it which was released a while ago can be watched here.

The plot of the anime has been described by manga websites as follows, "In fifteenth-century Europe, heretics are being burned at the stake. Rafal, a brilliant young man, is expected to enter university at an early age and study the era's most important field, theology. But Rafal values Reason above all else, which leads him both to the shocking conclusion that the Earth orbits the Sun, and into the hands of the Inquisition! A decade later, two members of the Watch Guild, the young Oczy and the cynical Gras, find a hidden stone chest that details the secrets of the universe Rafal left behind. Dare they try to change their own stars by selling the heretical texts, or would that only lead to the stake and the fire?"
Cast And Crew Behind The Anime 'Orb: On The Movements Of The Earth'
The original manga was written and published by an author only known as Uoto, and so far all we know about the crew is that studio Madhouse will be in charge of producing it. We've also been informed that one of the ending themes of the song is called 'Aporia' which was composed and sung by Japanese band Yorushika.
As for the cast list, the main cast will be voiced by Maaya Sakamoto, Kenjiro Tsuda, and Sho Hayami.
When Can I Start Watching The Anime 'Orb: On The Movements Of The Earth'
The anime will start streaming in Japan and worldwide on other platforms from October, 2024 onwards.
