'Trap' (2024) Movie Release Date VERY SOON, Cast And Crew, Other Details

A couple weeks ago, the official YouTube account of Warner Bros. Pictures uploaded two trailers for an upcoming thriller film titled, 'Trap'. Both of those trailers can be watched here.

For those that are interested in the thriller series, or want something to add to their serial killer filmography, here are some of the details you should know. The film is also coming out in theatres very soon so it's good go in with some knowledge and expectations.

Plot Details Of The 2024 Warner Bros. Movie 'Trap'

The plot of the movie will follow a father and his teenage daughter as they attend a concert of the daughter's favourite singer, Lady Raven. There are, however, some sinister undertones to the whole event as a bunch of police officers and even S.W.A.T. members start lining up outside of the event.

When the father decides to ask one of the staff at the concert hall, he is let in on a secret. Apparently, the F.B.I. were tipped off that a notorious serial killer by the name of the 'Butcher' is going to be attending the concert. The police have set up a trap to catch the killer, with the concert and its attendees acting as bait.

The trailer then reveals that the serial killer is, in fact, the father of the daughter, and the rest of the trailer demonstrates his skills at sabotage, his cunning manipulation, and his psychopathic blank stare as he plans his next move to evade the police. Worst comes to worst, he plans to at least go down while killing a few more people.

Cast And Crew Working On 'Trap' 2024

This is one of those movies where a large part of the mystery and intrigue is already revealed in the trailer. This may make some fans averse to watch it, but it is also directed by M. Night Shyamalan, a director known for his constant plot twists. Everything we see in the trailer may just be misdirection to avoid showing the true mystery and plot of the movie.

Some of the cast members include Josh Hartnett, Ariel Donoghue, Saleka Shyamalan, Hayley Mills and Allison Pill, with producers Ashwin Rajan, Marc Bienstock, and Steven Schneider helping in the back end.

When And Where Can I Watch 'Trap' 2024

While the original trailer had the release date to be August 9th, the date has been preponed. Now moviegoers worldwide can expect to watch it in theatres from August 2nd onwards.
