'Thelma' Movie Trailer Released By Hulu, Coming Soon

The official Hulu YouTube channel just recently uploaded a trailer for what appears to be a comedy movie with a very unique premise. The movie is called 'Thelma' and the trailer for it can be watched below.

Plot Details Of The Comedy-Drama Film 'Thelma'

In the movie, protagonist Thelma Post is a 93-year-old woman that lives alone in Los Angeles, with her only caregiver being her grandson Danny that tends to prioritize her well-being over his own life and career.

One day, a phone scammer calls Thelma and tells her that Danny has been arrested and that she needs to send him $100,000 in bail to a specific address in order to free him. She obliges, but then later finds out that Danny was actually fine and that she had been scammed. Unable to get any help from both the police and anyone else, she decides that she is going to take matters into her own hands and hunts down the scammer on her own.

'Thelma' is directed by Josh Margolin, who worked on the film alongside producers Zoe Worth, Chris Kaye, Nicholas Weinstock, Benjamin Simpson, Karl Spoerri, and Viviana Vezzani. The cast list for the movie includes June Squibb, Fred Hechinger, Richard Roundtree, Parker Posey, Clark Gregg, Malcolm McDowell, Nicole Byer, Quinn Beswick and more.
