The announcement was made through Suraj Productions' official social media handles, building anticipation ahead of the film's theatrical run.

45 marks the directorial debut of music composer Arjun Janya, who has also written the story and composed the film's music. The project is produced by Smt Uma Ramesh Reddy and M Ramesh Reddy under the Suraj Productions banner. Along with Shiva Rajkumar, Upendra, and Raj B. Shetty, the film features Kaustubha Mani and Jisshu Sengupta in key roles. The ensemble casting has drawn attention, particularly due to the distinct screen personas of the three lead actors.

The film is scheduled for a pan-India theatrical release on December 25, 2025, coinciding with Christmas. It will be released in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi, indicating the makers' intent to reach audiences across multiple language markets. On the technical front, cinematography is handled by Satya Hegde, with editing by K M Prakash. The action sequences have been choreographed by Dr K Ravivarma, Jolly Bastian, Different Dany, and Chetan D'Souza, while choreography for songs is managed by Chinni Prakash and B Dhananjay. Dialogues are written by Anil Kumar, and art direction is overseen by Mohan Pandith. VFX work is led by Yash Gowda, with costumes designed by PuttaRaju and makeup by Uma Maheshwar.
