Toxic First Single Release Time: ‘Tabaahi' Song From Yash And Kiara Advani's Film To Drop Today

Toxic First Single Release: Toxic - A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, the upcoming period gangster drama directed by Geetu Mohandas, is set to unveil its first single, titled Tabaahi. The track marks the first musical release from the film's soundtrack, which features contributions from multiple composers and lyricists across languages.

The song has been composed and sung by Vishal Mishra. As per details shared by the production team, the lyrics have been written separately for each language version by Yogaraj Bhat (Kannada), Raj Shekhar (Hindi), Ramajogayya Sastry (Telugu), Vignesh Shivan (Tamil) and Rafeeq Ahammed (Malayalam). The multilingual approach aligns with the film's simultaneous release plan across several Indian languages.

Headlined by Yash in a dual role, the film also features Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth in prominent roles. The project is produced by Venkat K. Narayana under KVN Productions along with Yash's banner, Monster Mind Creations. Music for the film includes work from Ravi Basrur, Vishal Mishra, Tanishk Bagchi, Faheem Abdullah and Arslan Nizami.

The film's teaser was released on February 20, offering a brief glimpse into its visual tone and narrative setting. Described by the makers as "a fairy tale for grown-ups," the film appears to blend stylised storytelling with elements of a gangster narrative.

The technical crew includes cinematographer Rajeev Ravi, editor Ujwal Kulkarni and production designer T. P. Abid. Sound design has been handled by Kunal Sharma, while the action sequences have been choreographed by J. J. Perry, Anbariv, Kecha Khamphakdee and Amrit Singh. The visual effects are being executed by DNEG.

The first single Tabaahi is scheduled to be released at 12:59 PM on March 2, according to the announcement made by the makers. The song will be available in multiple languages in keeping with the film's pan-Indian rollout strategy.

Toxic - A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on March 19, 2026. The film will be released in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and English. The single release is expected to mark the beginning of the next stage of the film's promotional campaign ahead of its theatrical debut later this month.
