Toxic Reveal Time: The makers of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups announced on Wednesday that a reveal from the film is scheduled for today, January 8, coinciding with the birthday of lead actor Yash, who turns 40 this year. While the update has been widely referred to as a teaser launch, reports suggest that the reveal may not be a full-fledged teaser but a character-focused introduction featuring the actor.

Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is an upcoming period gangster drama directed by Geetu Mohandas. The film is jointly produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under the banners KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations. The project has drawn attention for its scale and its ensemble cast, which includes Rukmini Vasanth, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, and Huma Qureshi.

On Wednesday, KVN Productions shared a new poster from the film on social media, featuring Yash walking through flames. The visual included details about the upcoming reveal, confirming that it would be unveiled today. The production house also posted the message, "Revealing the ONE they warned you about," along with the release date and time, 10:10 AM on January 8, 2026.

In their latest social media post, the makers wrote, "Only an insane man can do what legends fear," adding that the reveal will arrive at 10:10 AM.

In the lead-up to this announcement, the makers had released a series of character introduction posters for the female cast. Rukmini Vasanth was introduced as Mellisa, Tara Sutaria as Rebecca, Nayanthara as Ganga, Huma Qureshi as Elizabeth, and Kiara Advani as Nadia. These posters offered a first look at the characters but did not disclose details about their roles within the film's narrative.

According to reports circulating ahead of today's release, the reveal is expected to focus primarily on Yash's character rather than serving as a conventional teaser outlining the film's storyline or scale. This would be in line with the strategy followed last year, when a special glimpse titled Toxic: Birthday Peek was released on the actor's birthday.

Toxic: Key Crew And Release Date

Technically, the film brings together cinematographer Rajeev Ravi and composer Ravi Basrur, with editing handled by Ujwal Kulkarni. Toxic has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English and is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on March 19, 2026, coinciding with the Ugadi festival.
