At the heart of Still Shining is a story about love, relationships and the journey of self-discovery. WHAT TO EXPECT FROM K-DRAMA STILL SHINING: PLOT, CAST & OTHER DEETS

Still Shining brings together an experienced creative team and a heartfelt love story that spans several years. The series is directed by Kim Yoon Jin, who earlier worked on the popular drama Our Beloved Summer. The script has been written by Lee Sook Yun, known for the romantic film Tune in for Love.

At the centre of the story are two young people whose lives become deeply connected over time. Park Jinyoung plays Yeon Tae Seo, while Kim Min Ju takes on the role of Mo Eun Ah.

Their journey begins during Tae Seo's third-year summer break when he transfers to a new high school. It is there that he meets Eun Ah for the first time. Tae Seo is carefree, adventurous and prefers living in the moment. Eun Ah, on the other hand, is more thoughtful and focused on planning her future.

Despite their contrasting personalities, the two gradually grow closer. They begin supporting and encouraging each other through different phases of life. What starts as a friendship slowly develops into a tender first love, filled with memorable and meaningful moments.

However, their relationship does not last as life takes them in different directions. When they turn 20, circumstances force them to part ways, leaving behind emotions that remain unresolved.

A decade later, when they are both 30, fate unexpectedly brings them face to face again. Their reunion brings back memories of the past and the feelings they once shared. The story then explores whether the two can overcome the distance created by time and reconnect in a meaningful way.

Along with the lead pair, the drama also features a notable supporting cast. Shin Jae Ha plays Bae Sung Chan, a loyal friend who always stands by Eun Ah. Park Se Hyun appears as Im Ah Sol, a woman who has quietly admired Tae Seo for a long time.
Tae Seo's caring younger brother, Yeon Hee Seo, is portrayed by Sung Yoo Bin.

Meanwhile, Eun Ah's father Mo Sun Kyu is played by Kim Tae Hoon. His partner Park So Hyun is portrayed by Kim Ji Hyun.
