Azadi OTT Release: The Malayalam-language action thriller Azadi, which had its theatrical release on May 23, is now set to make its digital debut. The film will start streaming on ManoramaMAX from June 27, 2025. Featuring Sreenath Bhasi and Raveena Ravi in lead roles, Azadi is directed by first-time filmmaker Jo George and produced by Faizal Raja under the Little Crew Production banner.

Azadi unfolds within the tense atmosphere of Kottayam Medical College, centering on the story of Ganga, a pregnant inmate facing trial for the alleged murder of a political leader's son. As she is brought to the hospital for childbirth, her husband, Raghu, puts a carefully planned 24-hour escape strategy into motion. What begins as a covert rescue soon turns chaotic when individuals from their past begin to close in, forcing the couple into a desperate struggle for survival. The film explores themes such as justice, betrayal, and personal redemption, using a confined setting to build tension.

The cast includes Sreenath Bhasi as Raghu, Raveena Ravi as Ganga, Lal as Shivan, and Vani Viswanath portraying a police officer. Other supporting roles are played by Saiju Kurup, Vijayakumar, Maala Parvathi, Gilu Joseph, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, T. G. Ravi, and Rajesh Sharma.

Sagar, known for screenwriting credits in Veekam and Sathyam Mathrame Bodhippikku, has penned the script. Cinematography is handled by Saneesh Stanly, while the editing is done by Noufal Abdulla. The film's music and background score are composed by Varun Unni.

Azadi also brought together an expansive behind-the-scenes team that includes production designer Sahas Bala, re-recording mixer Fazal A Backer, and sound designers from Sound Ideas. The project also benefited from the contributions of executive producer Abdul Nowshad PA and creative producer Raiz Sumaiya Rehman.
