Written and directed by Deeno Dennis, which marked his directorial debut, was one of the highly-anticipated releases of the year. Amidst quite strong pre-release buzz, the Malayalam-language action-thriller was released on big screens on April 10, 2025. Struggling to leave a mark at the box office, Bazooka had earned around Rs 27.35 cr worldwide (lifetime) with a net earning of Rs 13.86 cr (approx.) in India. The lifetime gross collection of Bazooka was said to be around Rs 16.35 cr, crossing Rs 11 cr overseas reportedly.

As reported by The Induge Express, the post-theatrical OTT streaming rights of Bazooka have been acquired by Zee5. Now, according to the latest Asianet report, Mammootty's flop Malayalam film, Bazooka, is likely to have its OTT premiere on Zee5 this Thursday (June 5, 2025).

However, an official confirmation or announcement on the same is still awaited.
