Prince and Family OTT Release Date: Malayalam film Prince and Family, which marked actor Dileep's 150th appearance on the big screen, is set to make its digital debut later this month. The post-theatrical streaming rights of the film were acquired by ZEE5, and the platform has confirmed that the film will be available for streaming from June 20, 2025.

Directed by Binto Stephen in his first feature film and written by Sharis Mohammed, Prince and Family had its theatrical release on May 9. The film, produced by Listin Stephen under the Magic Frames banner, reportedly performed well at the box office and was received positively by the audience.

A Family Comedy Blending Hilarious Situations With Heartfelt Moments

Set against a rural Kerala backdrop, the comedy-drama follows Prince Chakkalakkal, a reserved bridal boutique owner, who unexpectedly finds himself in a whirlwind of domestic and social complications after marrying Chinju Rani, a lively and outspoken social media vlogger. The narrative explores the humorous and sometimes emotional fallout of their mismatched personalities within the close-knit family and community dynamics.

Dileep stars as Prince, while Raniya Raanaa plays Chinju Rani. The supporting cast includes Dhyan Sreenivasan as Prince's younger brother Jince, Siddique and Bindu Panicker as their parents, Johny Antony as Prince's friend KK, and Josekutty Jacob as the youngest brother Shins. The ensemble also features Manju Pillai, Ashwin Jose, Meenakshi Madhavi, and cameo appearances by Urvashi and Vineeth Thattil David.

The film was shot over a period of 85 days across multiple locations, including Ooty, Kozhikode, and Ernakulam. Renadive handled the cinematography, while Sagar Dass was in charge of editing. Music was composed by Sanal Dev, with lyrics by Vinayak Sasikumar and Manu Manjith.

The satellite rights of Prince and Family have been secured by Zee Keralam. On social media, ZEE5 announced the OTT release with the caption: "With big laughs and little emotional explosions, winning over audience hearts - the first family hit of 2025, Prince and Family, streaming from June 20 on our very own ZEE5 Malayalam."

The film's OTT release is expected to bring it to a wider audience beyond its theatrical reach, offering viewers a chance to catch up on this family-centric comedy drama from the comfort of their homes.
