Mohanlal's L366 First Look Out: Here's The Meaning Of His Unique Character Name: The legendary superstar of Malayalam cinema is stepping into a more exciting phase of his acting career, in 2026. Mohanlal is reuniting with Tharun Moorthy, the director of his blockbuster outing Thudarum, for a new outing this year. The first look poster of the film, which is tentatively titled L366, is finally out.

Recently, the L366 team took to their official social media handles and dropped the promising first look poster of Mohanlal from the film. The unexpected surprise left the cinephiles and Mohanlal fans highly excited. "Introducing pure love in human form - T.S. Lovelajan #L366 @Mohanlal @ashiqusman," wrote director Tharun Moorthy, who shared the first look poster on his social media handles.

The legendary actor is seen in the get-up of a police officer, who is seen against the backdrop of a humble Malayali Christian home, in the poster. After a very long gap, Mohanlal has bid goodbye to his signature thick beard look, and is seen sporting the good-old twirled mustache look in the poster. However, it Lalettan's character's name - TS Lovelajan - that left the netizens intrigued.

If the reports are to be believed, the name Lovelajan loosely translates to this meaning - the one who can't get enough of loving others. From the caption of director Tharun Moorthy, it is now safe to assume that Mohanlal is set to play a highly endearing character in the film, which marks his second collaboration with the Thudarum director.

L366, which is touted to be a comedy investigation thriller, will also mark Mohanlal's reunion with the popular actress Meera Jasmine, after a brief onscreen moment in his 2025-released film Hridayapoorvam. Reportedly, Meera is set to play the role of Lovelajan's wife, in the film. Ratheesh Ravi is the director of photography of the film, directed by Ashiq Usman.
