Shark Tank India Exclusive! From Adrenaline Rush To Signing A Deal, Here's The Journey Of Dorabi
Sharing the exciting and surreal moment from Shark Tank India, Ashima revealed that there were countless scenarios playing in her head as soon as she entered the stage. The Dorabi founded said, "I had played out countless scenarios in my head about what could happen. But honestly, the moment the offers came in, I forgot them almost instantly because the adrenaline was so high. I had to keep a straight face, and while that part wasn't shown on television, as soon as I stepped into the tunnel to discuss the offer with my parents, my first question was, "What were the offers?" because my mind was on overdrive. It was an incredibly high-adrenaline moment."
Kunal Bahl praised Ashima towards the end of her pitch and wished his daughter to grow up in such a confident way. Talking about how Ashima absorbed that comment and how her parent felt at that moment, she said, "that was such a special moment. I remember my eyes welling up right then because I was standing next to my parents, and I could practically feel their pride. The hug my father gave me as soon as we stepped out of the tunnel said everything. In that moment, I felt like I had finally done something for them, and that was the most gratifying feeling ever."
Ashima further believes that preparing for the Shark Tank India pitch was "extremely high stress" but at the same time, it was educational as well. Defining that particular moment she said, "Preparing for Shark Tank felt like studying for the exam of a lifetime-except instead of memorizing answers, I had to be ready for every curveball. It was a six-month-long process where I wasn't just answering questions for Shark Tank, but also for myself and my business."
The new episodes of Shark Tank India are released every day from Monday to Friday at 8 pm ET only on SonyLIV.
