Dhanush's Charitable Gesture: Donates ₹1 Crore to Actors' Guild Building Fund
Dhanush, a celebrated actor, has been making waves with his recent string of successful films. He's worked with top directors to deliver hits like "Thiruchitrambalam," "Vaathi," and "Captain Miller." His latest project, "Raayan," directed by him, is eagerly awaited with its first single, composed by A. R. Rahman, already gaining popularity. Additionally, Dhanush is wrapping up work on "Kubera," directed by Sekhar Kammula.
Beyond his cinematic achievements, Dhanush has shown his generosity by donating ₹1 crore to the Actors' Guild building fund, joining other stars like Kamal Haasan and Vijay in supporting this cause. The Guild is working on raising an additional ₹40 crore to complete the building, which promises to be a significant asset for the Tamil film industry.

The new building will feature a large auditorium capable of seating 1,000 people, an 800-guest marriage hall, and a 300-seater mini-hall. These facilities will be available for Guild members to use at no cost. Additionally, there will be plenty of parking space for guests.
Construction had paused due to financial constraints but has now resumed with the goal of finishing within the year. This development has been met with positive reactions from the industry. The contributions from leading actors are greatly appreciated, highlighting the community's support for this venture. With "Raayan" on the horizon, Dhanush continues to capture the public's interest, promising another hit for his impressive portfolio.
