Indian 2 OTT Release Date And Platform: When And Where To Watch Kamal Haasan's Movie

Indian 2 OTT Release: "Indian 2," helmed by S. Shankar and co-scripted by B. Jeyamohan, Kabilan Vairamuthu, and Lakshmi Saravana Kumar, debuted on July 12th as a Tamil vigilante action film. Titled "Indian 2: Zero Tolerance," it marks the highly anticipated sequel to the iconic 1996 film "Indian," with Kamal Haasan returning as Senapathy, now an aged freedom fighter turned vigilante. The film has been released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, known as "Indian 2," "Hindustani 2," and "Bharateeyudu 2," respectively.
Indian 2's digital streaming rights have been secured by Netflix. Following its theatrical run, the film will be available on the OTT platform. Additionally, reports suggest that Kalaignar TV has acquired the satellite rights. The OTT release date for the movie is currently unconfirmed.
Indian 2 Premise
In this follow-up to the 1996 film "Indian," Kamal Haasan returns as Senapathy, a former freedom fighter now a vigilante battling corruption. Senapathy returns to support a young activist who exposes corrupt politicians through online videos.
Indian 2 Cast
The ensemble cast of "Indian 2" is impressive, led by Kamal Haasan as Veerasekaran Senapathy, alias "Indian," and Siddharth as Chitra Aravindhan. Also featured are Rakul Preet Singh as Disha, S. J. Suryah as Sakala Kala Vallavan, and Bobby Simha as Pramod. Vivek plays a CBI officer, while Priya Bhavani Shankar portrays Aarthi. The film boasts a diverse ensemble, including Brahmanandam, Samuthirakani, Kalidas Jayaram, Nedumudi Venu as Inspector Krishnaswamy, Delhi Ganesh, Manobala, and others. Special appearances include Gulshan Grover, Zakir Hussain, Piyush Mishra, Akhilendra Mishra, Jayaprakash, G. Marimuthu, George Maryan, Vinod Sagar, Yograj Singh, Renuka, Kalyani Natarajan, C. Ranganathan, Benedict Garrett, Ravi Venkatraman, Cheranraj, and Demi-Leigh Tebow in the "Calendar Song."

The film features a talented team, comprising composer Anirudh Ravichander, cinematographers Ravi Varman and R. Rathnavelu, editor A. Sreekar Prasad, production designer T. Muthuraj, and visual effects supervisor V. Srinivas Mohan.
"Indian 2" is screening globally in theatres, including in standard and IMAX formats. Given its lengthy runtime exceeding six hours, the film will be split into two parts, with "Indian 3" slated for a 2025 release.
