Chithha First Review: Siddharth's Latest Is A Highly Emotional, Heart Wrenching & Thought Provoking Drama

Chithha is the upcoming film featuring Siddharth, who also bankrolled the movie. This emotional drama charts the relationship between a father (father's younger brother) and his daughter. The movie is written and directed by SU Arun Kumar. Chithha is hitting the screens on September 28, worldwide. The movie's dubbed version is going to be released in Telugu on the same day.

Speaking about the film, director SU Arun Kumar is quoted as saying, "There are many films that represent the sentiment of Thai mama (maternal uncle). This film talks about the love and affection of a Chitthappa (Father's younger brother)."

He also mentioned that he wrote the story keeping Siddharth in mind and eventually, Siddharth had come forward to fund the project. This role is a different facet of Siddharth's acting capabilities that showcased him in a new light.

Chithha Premise

Chithha is the story of a girl (Sahasra Sree), who is the apple of the eye of her Chithappa, played by Siddharth. He is very close to her and following the death of Sahasra's father, her Chithappa takes over her responsibility by being supportive of Sahasra's mother. On the other hand, there are a series of kidnappings and reported rapes in the area. Chithha joins hands with the cops to nab the psycho.
