Dragon Box Office Collection: Tamil coming-of-age comedy-drama Dragon officially hit the big screens on February 21, 2025. Written and directed by Ashwath Marimuthu in his second directorial venture, the film is backed by AGS Entertainment. Dragon features Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead role, supported by Anupama Parameswaran, Kayadu Lohar, George Maryan, K. S. Ravikumar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Mysskin.

According to film industry tracker Trendswood, Dragon witnessed a notable occupancy on its first Monday. The film, which opened to strong numbers over the weekend, continued its momentum at the box office, drawing audiences on the weekday as well. With positive word-of-mouth and steady footfalls, Dragon appears to be holding well in its theatrical run.

Dragon Premise

Once a bright student, Ragavan's life takes a drastic turn after a heartbreak, leading him to adopt the rebellious persona of Dragon. His quest for success through deception lands him a high-paying job and a lavish lifestyle, but when past mistakes resurface, he must confront his choices and seek redemption.

Dragon features an ensemble cast led by Pradeep Ranganathan, alongside KS Ravi Kumar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Mysskin in key roles. The film also stars VJ Siddhu, Harshath Khan, Anupama Parameswaran, Kayadu Lohar, Mariam George, Indhumathy Manigandan, Thenappan, and others, adding to its diverse and talented lineup.

Dragon was written and directed by Ashwath Marimuthu and backed by AGS Entertainment. Produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh, and Kalpathi S Suresh, the film features music by Leon James, cinematography by Niketh Bommi, and editing by Pradeep E Ragav. Archana Kalpathi served as the creative producer, with Aishwarya Kalpathi as the associate creative producer. The action sequences were choreographed by Vicky and Dilip Subbarayan, while JD handled the dance choreography. The film also boasted an extensive technical team, including production designer V.
