Murmur OTT Release Date & Platform: The first-ever Tamil found-footage horror film titled 'Murmur' is gearing up for the much-awaited digital streaming debut this week. The movie directed by Hemanth Narayanan was theatrically released on March 7 and didn't quite make an impact at the box office despite critical applause. After earning mixed reviews, the movie is now going to enthrall a wide range of horror-thriller buffs with its OTT release.

Upon the film's theatrical release, many Kollywood industry bigwigs, critics, and audiences have reacted to Murmur movie positively. The great sound design, decent thrills, and scary moments of the movie made the experience noticeable, opined those who watched the film.

The movie is available to stream in Tamil on Amazon Prime Video and the latest update reveals the OTT debut date of the Murmur movie on the Lionsgate Play app. If the piece of news is anything to go by, the horror footage film will be available to stream from April 17. It was also rumoured that the movie's digital streaming rights have been secured by Tentkotta and that the streaming date will be announced shortly.

Murmur Synopsis
The movie's plot is all about a group of enthusiastic paranormal YouTubers from Chennai, who embark on a quest to face the unknown dark secrets of the cursed forest of Javadhu Hills. They decide to make a vlog of their trip as they experience the demonic spirit called 'Seven Saptha Kannigal,' in real-time. They are accompanied by a local guard but due to the unforeseen challenges, they go missing. Later, police find their broken gear with the raw footage.
