Kaattaan OTT Release: A new web series featuring Vijay Sethupathi is set to arrive on the streaming space later this month, drawing attention after the release of its latest promotional material. Titled Muthu Alias Kaattaan, the upcoming series explores the life and mystery surrounding a man whose identity and legacy appear to be viewed differently by those who knew him.

The makers recently unveiled the official trailer, offering a deeper look into the narrative that was first hinted at through the teaser released on February 27. That teaser created curiosity with the unusual image of a severed head believed to belong to the central character, Muthu. With the trailer now out, the story appears to expand beyond the initial shock factor, introducing several perspectives that attempt to explain who Muthu really was.

The footage suggests that the series unfolds through multiple accounts from different individuals, each describing Muthu in contrasting ways. Some portray him as a feared outlaw, while others appear to view him as someone misunderstood or shaped by circumstance. As these versions of events unfold, the series gradually pieces together the circumstances surrounding his fate.

Alongside Vijay Sethupathi, the show features a cast that includes Milind Soman, Sudev Nair and Muthukumar in important roles.
