Tamil Nadu Assembly Election 2026 LIVE: Polling for the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections began on April 23, with voters turning up across the state from the early hours of the morning. The electoral exercise, which will determine the next government in Tamil Nadu, is being held across all 234 constituencies.
Over 5.73 crore voters are set to decide the electoral fate of 4,023 candidates in the fray for the crucial Assembly elections.
Polling officially commenced at 7 a.m. and will continue until 6 p.m.
