Gudi Padwa 2023: Ankita Lokhande Celebrates Holy Festival With Vicky; Shiv, Disha & Others Also Extend Wishes

It is the holy day today and the nation is taken over by the festive vibes. After all, it's Gudi Padwa today, a spring festival marking the start of the traditional New Year. And while the social media is abuzz with tweets and wishes for the holy occasion. In fact, several celebs have also taken to social media to give a glimpse of their Gudi Padwa celebrations and also extended wishes to the fans. This includes Ankit Lokhande-Vicky Jain, Shiv Thakare, Soundary Sharma, Gashmeer Mahajani etc.

Taking to her Instagram handle, Ankit shared a video of herself with her husband Vicky Jain as they performed the puja on the occasion of Gudi Padwa. She looked stunning in her sea green saree with golden print and was dressed in a traditional Maharastrian attire. To note, the festival is observed with a special Gudhi dvaja which includes a silk saree or piece of silk cloth garlanded with flowers, mango and neem leaves, sugar crystal garland called gathi, topped with upturned silver or copper vessels. She captioned the post as, "Wishing everyone a very happy gudi padwa. And a very happy and prosperous new year toooo".

Gashmeer Mahajani, who is winning hearts with his ongoing stint in Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal, also shared a perfect family pic on the occasion Gudi Padwa. He captioned it as, "गुढीपाडव्याच्या आपणां सर्वांना मंगलमय शुभेच्छा. Happy Gudhi Padwa".

Meanwhile, this Gudi Padwa holds a special importance for Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain as it happens to be their first Gudi Padwa in their new house. As the day marks the traditional new year, the couple recently got candid about their goals and said they are planning to work on themselves. "We have set major fitness goals, and we are trying to meet them," Vicky was quoted saying.
