While she became the youngest participant to stay inside the Bigg Boss house for over 100 days, Sumbul's overall journey was like a roller coaster ride as she went through many ups and downs. However, fighting all odds, she came out stronger.

During her stint in Bigg Boss 16, her father Touqeer Khan turned out to be a strong support system for her. Those who were following Bigg Boss 16 or Sumbul must be aware that her father is a single parent. In several interviews, he stated how Sumbul took care of her younger sister as he was a single parent.

While not much is known about the separation of Sumbul's parents, the actress opened up about their separation in a recent interview.

Talking about the thought of reconnecting with her mother again, Sumbul told ETimes, "It doesn't matter what I plan. Mere nazar mein ek simple si cheez hai. I feel if my parents have mutually decided that they want to go on different paths in life, being their child I should respect their decision. I think I should keep the respect of both the relations. Mere liye Sirf itni cheez hai."

Interestingly, she shot for another episode yesterday with her Imlie co-star Fahmaan Khan. Amid rumours of a tiff, the duo made SuMaan fans by shooting together. Now, their shippers are eagerly awaiting the episode.
