Tunisha Sharma Suicide Case: Sheezan Khan Gets Bail

Tunisha Sharma Suicide Case: Television actor and Tunisha Sharma's co-star Sheezan Khan was granted bail by a Maharashatra court on Saturday. Sheezan was arrested last year for alleged abetment of suicide was was in jail under judicial custody. As per a report in ANI, Vasai court had granted the bail to Sheezan Khan on Rs 1 lakh surety bond The court has also directed the actor to submit his passport. His bail plea was heard by District Judge RD Deshpande. The Ali Baba actor has also been asked not to tamper with any evidence related to the case.

The actor was in a relationship with Tunisha, who was found hanging in the washroom on December 24, 2022. Reports, however, further stated that both of them had allegedly broken-up before the unfortunate incident.

Tunisha Sharma's Death & Sheezan's Arrest

The 21-year-old actress, Tunisha Sharma was found hanging in the make-up room of the sets of her show. She was allegedly shooting for 'Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul' on the day of her demise.

Sheezan Khan was arrested a day after the actress's death as her mother, Vanita, accused him of instigating her daughter to take her own life. She also alleged that the actor 'used' her daughter. The actress's family even claimed that Tunisha was depressed because of her break-up. Tunisha and Sheezan are said to have broken-up just 15 days before the actress took her life.

The actor's lawyer on behalf of Sheezan in his petitions said that relationship and break-ups are normal facets of life and he mentioned that Tunisha had joined tinder after her breakup and even went on a date with a man named Ali.

The 27-year-old actor's layer further claimed that Tunisha had addressed her suicidal thoughts with co-actor Parth, and when Sheezan heard their conversation, he told her family members to take care of her.
