Udaariyaan: After Ankit Gupta & Hitesh Bhardwaj, THIS Actor To Play LEAD Role In Season Three? DEETS Out

Udaariyaan Update: TV stars Ravie Dubey and Sargun Mehta ventured into production in 2021 with Colors show Udaariyaan featuring Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Ankit Gupta, and Isha Malviya in the lead roles. Since the very beginning, the show surprised everyone by performing really well on the TRP charts.

Initially based on the love triangle between Tejo, Fateh, and Jasmine, the daily soap made Priyanka, Ankit, and Isha household names. However, last year, Priyanka and Ankit Gupta left the show when the makers chose to revamp the show by introducing a generation leap.

UDAARIYAAN MAKERS PLANNING FOR THIRD SEASON

While Isha continued to be a part of Udaariyaan, Hitesh Bhardwaj and Twinkle Arora entered the hit show in the lead roles of Ekam and Nehmat respectively. Even after their entries, the show continued performing decently on the ratings front.

However, after almost one year after the generation leap, the latest reports suggest that the makers of Udaariyaan are now planning for another revamp and thinking about a third season. Yes, you read that right!

While the makers are yet to react, there are speculations that Alibaba Dastaan-E- Kabul star Sheezan Khan has been approached to essay the lead role in the third edition of Udaariyaan.

SHEEZAN KHAN IN THIRD SEASON OF UDAARIYAAN?

Revealing the same, a source informed IWMBuzz, "Sheezan is in advanced talks with the channel and production house to play the lead in Udaariyaan 3."

However, an official announcement regarding the same is still awaited.

For the unversed, Sheezan Khan made his acting debut in 2013 with Jodha Akbar as the young Abkar and later went on to be a part of popular shows like Silsila Pyaar Ka, Chandra Nandini, Prithvi Vallabh - Itihaas Bhi Rahasya Bhi, Tara From Satara, and Nazar 2 among others.

Last year, he also made headlines for the wrong reasons when the mother of his girlfriend and Ali Baba co-star Tunisha Sharma filed a case of abetment of suicide after the actress was found hanged in her room on the set. After staying inside the jail for around 70 years, he finally got bail.

He will also be seen as a contestant in Rohit Shetty's Khatron Ke Khiladi 13, scheduled to premiere on Colors TV on July 15.
