Revealing the same, a source informed ETimes, "The time leap is happening for sure, and all cast members have been informed about it in advance. However, we don't have precise details about the timing yet. It could take place at the end of November or in December. Producer Rajan Shahi is known for fleshing out the character and its graph before approaching anyone. The creative team is still finalising details, so casting hasn't commenced. We haven't approached any actors for the roles yet."

If true, Harshad and Pranali's exit from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai will surely make their fans sad. Also, it'll be interesting to see who'll finally replace them as leads after the leap.
