Anupamaa new cast after leap: Star Plus' top-rated show Anupamaa is all set to witness a massive change as the makers are introducing a generation leap. Just when we thought the drama in the serial is over, the creative team added a new twist in the tale.

WHY ANUPAMAA TOOK A LEAP?

A source exclusively told Filmibeat, "The makers of Anupamaa have decided to bring a new twist in the show to entertain the audience. While several actors will make an exit from the show, the addition of talented artists to the cast is expected to boost the daily soap. Expected the unexpected as the storyline shifts to Dwarka from Ahmedabad."

The official Instagram handle of Star Plus released a promo to give a glimpse of the upcoming episode. The caption for the post read, "Daur badalta gaya par Anupama ki apni beti se milne ki aas aaj bhi barqaraar hai. Wahin, Adhya ki duniya badal chuki hai. Kya koi anjaan jod paayega bichhde huye Maa-Beti ke rishtey ko?"

Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna will continue to play the respective roles of Anupamaa and Anuj in the show. While MaAn remains an integral part of Rajan Shahi's show, several new actors have joined the cast.

Alisha Parveen, who was seen in Udaariyaan serial, has been roped in to play the new Aadhya in the show. Guess who will romance her in the show? None other than Shivam Khajuria. Filmibeat already confirmed the details about his entry in the daily soap a month back.

A source earlier exclusively told Filmibeat, "Anupamaa will witness a new track when the makers introduce another leap. We have heard that Shivam Khajuria has been approached for a meaty role in Anupamaa serial as the creative team has planned a massive twist. Contrary to the rumours, he is not playing the lead role in Rajan Shahi's next show. Star Plus has put a few shows, including Rajan's upcoming daily soap, on hold. Shivam is expected to join Anupama."
