Bigg Boss 8’s Priya Malik Is Expecting Her First Baby In April; Reveals She Suffered Miscarriage Last Year

Priya Malik, who became a household name with her stint in Bigg Boss 8, is all over the headlines today. After all, she is expecting her first child now. The diva had married her businessman beau Karan Bakshi in October 2022 and are all set to embrace parenthood now. Needless to say, the soon to be parents are over the moon about starting this new chapter in their lives.

According to a report in Bombay Times, Priya and Karan will be welcoming their first child in April this year. Talking about the same, she said, "We were mentally very ready. It just feels very organic. I am not worried about the gender or anything at all"..

As Priya shared the big news, she also revealed that she had suffered a miscarriage last year while she was in the third month of her pregnancy and called it a difficult phase. "We were not planning to have a baby as soon as this. I conceived at the beginning of last year and it took us completely by surprise. We were overjoyed. We thought let's embrace it. I always wanted to be a mom. It felt natural. Then we lost the baby within the first three months. Coming from a loss to another pregnancy was very different," Priya added.

As of now, the soon to be mommy is enjoying this pregnancy and is looking forward to embracing motherhood. "I am trying not to shop too much. We got the cradle and the cot. I will be very overprotective and clingy mom," Priya was quoted saying.

For the uninitiated, Priya had made headlines after she participated in Bigg Boss 8 and emerged as a strong contestant on the popular reality show. Besides, she has also been winning hearts with her poetry on social media.
