Rohit Chandel Exclusive: Actor Rohit Chandel, known for shows like Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki and Kashibai Bajirao Ballal, established himself as a TV star after playing the lead role in Star Plus' Pandya Store. Produced by Sphere Origins, the show featured him as the main protagonist Dhawal with Priyanshi Yadav.

Rohit Chandel earned huge love and appreciation for his performance as Dhawal in Pandya Store and fans have been missing seeing him on TV daily ever since the hugely popular Star Plus show went off-air last month after a good run of around four years. While the actor's well-wishers are hoping for his TV comeback soon, he is a little choosy about his next project.

Amid all this, the talented actor talked exclusively to Filmibeat and opened up about the kind of offers he's getting after Pandya Store. Rohit Chandel said, "Obviously, there were so many offers after Pandya Store. The day they (other producers) came to know Pandya Store was getting over, they immediately started contacting me. But, obviously, I've made that position where I can be choosy about the projects and the characters I want to play. Also, budget matters sometimes. So, ye saari cheezein consider karte hue, I'm a little bit choosy and soon, I'll be coming up with a good project. So, let's hope for the best."

On being asked about participating in reality shows, the TV star revealed that Bigg Boss OTT 3 makers had approached him after the news of Pandya Store going off-air came out. However, he's not keen on doing the controversial reality show for now.

Revealing the same to Filmibeat, Rohit Chandel stated, "Bigg Boss ka set and Pandya Store ka set, they're padosi-padosi. Jaise hi show was about to get over, Bigg Boss people approached me. Also, jaise hi Khatron Ke Khiladi ki casting hui, they didn't know Pandya Store was getting over, otherwise they would have approached me for that also. But, I'm not very keen on Bigg Boss because, I don't know, I don't like to show my personal life that much in any kind of reality show."

However, he would love to do Rohit Shetty's Khatron Ke Khiladi and added, "Khatron Ke Khiladi, I can think about it because I like to do all my stunts if you have seen Escaype Live."
