Harshad Chopda Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin: There's been a lot off buzz over Harshad Chopda's entry in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein. The rumours have spread like wildfire on the internet after Telly Talk claimed that the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor might make a comeback to the small screen.

Karanvir Bohra, who earlier worked with Harshad Chopda in Dil Se Di Dua... Saubhagyavati Bhava, has been confirmed as the new villain of GHKPM. He has spilled the beans on his entry in the romantic drama starring Bhavika Sharma and Shakti Arora.

"The makers have planned to spice up the drama by introducing a new character. It will be cameo role for Karanvir Bohra. Having played iconic characters like Virat and Prem, he fits the bill perfectly for the show. Considering his acting prowess and willingness to experiment with role, the makers found him the right actor for an important role," a source earlier told Filmibeat.

WHY IS SHAKTI ARORA GETTING REPLACED IN GHUM HAI KISIKEY PYAAR MEIIN?

"While reports suggested that Shakti Arora's contract was said to be the reason behind the leap, the drop in TRPs also played a significant role in the decision. It was said that the makers decided to bring the leap after the show suffered a decrease in ratings due to clash with IPL 2024. The budget issues were also considered while taking the drastic decision. Considering the salary of the lead actors, the makers thought of trimming down the cost by bringing a fresher face opposite Bhavika. Shakti charges a bomb for the show and hence, the production costs were introduced to bring down the total expenditure," a source exclusively told Filmibeat.

Shakti Arora will make an exit while Bhavika Sharma will continue to be a part of the show.

There are always budget issues when hiring a popular actor and the makers are currently busy with the auditions. They will announce the name of new Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin hero at the right time."
