When asked about her reaction to the entire Isha Malviya and Kamal Dadiala controversy, Twinkle said, "My only reaction is that I was shocked. I was very shocked to see the kind of comments I read. Honestly, I don't know what actually happened that made both of them react this way. I don't know what Kamal ma'am said, so let me clarify that. I was on a shoot, saw my Instagram, and learned that something had happened. I then saw both of their stories. They were mocking each other. Isha was saying 'sorry bole meri jutti' and then something like 'bhikh mangne ka tarika.' I was actually shocked because my upbringing is not like this. It's not about the age group. It's just that everyone should respect each other and behave rightfully and equally."

On asked if she feels Isha is an easy target, especially because of her age, and hence gets easily embroiled in controversies, Twinkle said, "No, I don't think Isha is a soft target. Yes, she is young, but she is experienced. She knows the world, and I really don't think she is an easy target."

For those unaware, it is stated that Isha became irritated when she saw some interviews Kamal gave to a few media portals while she was inside the Bigg Boss 17 house. Although Isha did not directly say anything to Kamal, her fans started criticizing and trolling Kamal, after which the senior actress decided to take legal action against Isha's fans. Isha then mocked Kamal by making a video where she said, "Sorry, my foot," indirectly referring to Kamal. Kamal played Isha's on-screen mother in TV show Udaariyaan.
