WHY SHEHZADA DHAMI WAS REPLACED IN YEH RISHTA KYA KEHLATA HAI?

Last month, Rajan Shahi released a long statement, alleging that Shehzada Dhami misbehaved with the crew and threw tanrums on the set. He said that Dhami's 'disregard for the work ethics was evident from day one of shoot'. The Anupamaa producer said that the recent events forced the production house to take a tough call.

While Pratiksha and Shehzada remained tight-lipped about the replacement, Rajan slammed them in the statement.

"Recent events have prompted Directors Kut Production to take a firm stance against unprofessional behavior displayed by two actors from the TV show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Shehzada Dhami, and Pratiksha Honmukhe. Shehzada Dhami's disregard for work ethics became evident from day one, as he consistently threw tantrums and mistreated the crew," Rajan Shahi said in his official statement as quoted as saying by BollywoodLife.

WILL YEH RISHTA KYA KEHLATA HAI GO OFF AIR?

There are rumors that Star Plus has sent a notice to the makers of YRKKH to pull up the socks as the numbers are down. While Rajan Shahi didn't reveal if the rumour is true, his statement went viral on the internet.

Rajan Shahi, who hosted an Iftari party, shared that the show has often received such notices from Star Plus. "I have received notices from the programming team about shutting down the show. Interestingly, whenever we have got such notices, the TRPs of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai have increased. Notice aaya to TRP badh Jayegi," Shahi told the journalists at the Iftari celebrations on the sets.

Contrary to the rumours floating on the internet, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is not going off air or getting shifted to a new time slot. The rumour mills can rest in peace as the show is performing well on the channel.
