Rajan Shahi issued a statement to confirm that Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe were fired. Accusing them of unprofessionalism, he said that the production house had to take a firm stance against them.

The Anupamaa producer alleged that Shehzada misbehaved with the crew and threw tantrums on the sets. He claimed that Shehzada's 'disregard for work ethics was evident since day one of shoot'.

"Recent events have prompted Directors Kut Production to take a firm stance against unprofessional behavior displayed by two actors from the TV show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Shehzada Dhami, and Pratiksha Honmukhe. Shehzada Dhami's disregard for work ethics became evident from day one, as he consistently threw tantrums and mistreated the crew," Rajan Shahi said in his official statement as quoted as saying by BollywoodLife.

A throwback video is going viral where Niyati Joshi can be seen reacting to Shehzada Dhami's replacement. She shared her thoughts about the major departure from the show.

Niyati Joshi, while interacting with the media, spoke about Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe's exit from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The actress claimed that Shehzada had attitude issues and she knew the makers might take a drastic decision against him.

While the production house accused Shehzada of misbehaving with the crew on the set, the Choti Sarrdaarni actor remained tight-lipped about the development. Wondering what Niyati Joshi said about Shehzada Dhami? She expressed her displeasure over the way he behaved with the people on the set. She said that Shehzada never greeted the co-stars or team members while coming on the set for shooting his scenes in YRKKH. "Pata nahi kis baat ka attitude that," she told Telly Masala.

The actress lauded Rajan Shahi, stating that he took a bold decision. "If he took such an extreme step, there must be a reason," she added. Niyati mentioned that the Yeh Rishta and Anupamaa producer always took good care of the team and treated the members like his family.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai currently stars Samridhii Shukla, Rohit Purohit and Garvita Sadhwani in lead roles.
