Preetika Rao's Alleged Instagram DMs Go Viral; 'Womanizer' Claims Against Beintehaa Co-star Harshad Arora Grabs Eyeballs

It all started with the screenshots of Preetika Rao getting into a heated argument with one of her fan pages on Instagram. Reacting to one of fan-edited romantic reels of the actress with her Beintehaa co-star Harshad Arora, Preetika allegedly called the actor a 'womanizer' who 'sleeps with every woman he finds in the industry'.

The screenshots of the Instagram DM went viral on the internet in no time. Talking to HT, her team claimed it wasn't Preetika who sent the messages and she had no idea about all these. One of her team members told the daily, "Her account is handled by one of the team members who got into a big argument with the ZaYa fan club. It's the girl's fault, as she wrote all that and not Preetika ma'am. Unhone toh kab ka acting chod diya hai, woh toh apne channel aur spiritual podcast par focus kar rahi hai. She has no clue about any statement the social media person made against Harshad sir. (sic)"

The person has further claimed that Preetika is currently unavailable as she is in Bangalore for a "retreat with her family".

Harshad Arora Reacts To Preetika Rao's Alleged Accusations; Will He Sue The Actress?

Harshad Arora finally reacted to the derogatory accusation labelled against him by his co-star Preetika Rao allegedly. Talking to ETimes, Arora slammed her and said, "I'm not sure why she would say something like that - whether it's for publicity or attention. It's so irrelevant because it's been so many years and out of nowhere, why would you write such a thing? We haven't spoken since the show ended. Yes, we didn't get along during the shoot, but we were always professional. (sic)"

He further added that he was "surprised" and "shocked" by such a "derogatory statement". Reacting to the claims of her being unavailable at the moment the actor commented, "Now, I hear she's travelling and unavailable to respond - why avoid clarifying it now? I really don't know the state of mind in which she said this. This was almost 12 years ago. Come on, move on. You just can't be Aaliya (Preetika's character in the show)all the time and be in that zone. Get out of the fantasy. (sic)"

In a conversation with HT, Arora stated that he could have "served her with a defamation notice" if he wanted but he decided not to do so since he was busy with shooting.

"If I wanted, I could have served her with a defamation notice for what she said. But I honestly don't have the time or the bandwidth to. I discussed it with my friend, who is a lawyer, who explained to me that if I want, I can sue her (Preetika) for her claims. But then I thought, I am shooting, and I barely have time; she has free time at her hand, and hence she is channelling her spiritual energy towards all this, (sic)" Harshad told the daily.
