Interestingly, she feels blindness is her strength and not weakness. The show aims to deliver a strong message that no disability can stop you from living your life happily. The makers have roped in newcomer Jaee Khandekar to essay the titular role of Aanandi.

Well-known actor Sameer Dharmadhikari will portray Yugandhar Nimbalkar, while veteran actor Arun Nalawade will be seen as Atmaram Jadhav, the grandfather of Aanandi. Her sisters will be played by Alapini Nisal and Payoshni Thakur.
